形態特徵

• Erect or spreading herbs, to 30 cm tall; stems quadrangular, subglabrous.
• Leaves ovate to ovate-lanceolate, 1.5–2 cm long, 7–10 mm wide, apex acute or rather short-acuminate, base subcordate or truncate, margins entire, both surfaces slightly pubescent.
• Spikes terminal, rarely axillary, solitary or fascicled, to 1 cm long, many-flowered; bracts oblong-lanceolate; calyx-segments unequal; corolla to 6 mm long, throat retrorsely bearded within and without, limb minutely puberulent externally; stamens included, anthers ca. 1 mm long, pilose at tip; ovary oblong; style sparingly hirsute.
• Capsule up to 4 mm long, seeds conical, orbicular.
